Sebastián Lelio’s Chilean ‘Gloria’ Takes Best Picture At First Platino Awards

Gloria the Chilean feature film which conquered last years festival circuit, has now won Best Picture at the first ever Platino Awards. Winning awards from London to New York, Palm Springs and Hawaii, the comedic drama, which stars Paulina García, is set in Santiago and centered on Gloria, a free-spirited older woman, and the realities of her whirlwind relationship with a former naval officer whom she meets out in the clubs.
